9 June 1968 Operated flight BA538 from New York to Prestwick and Manchester.
5-6 November 1968 Operated flight BA120 from Nairobi to Zurich and London.
11 March 1969 Operated flight BA509 from London to New York.
22 July 1969 Operated flight BA914 from London to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Rome and Rome to Bahrain.
17 April 1970 Operated flight BA260 from Lagos to Accra, then to Rome and London.
9 September 1970 Hijacked after leaving Bahrain for Beirut while operating flight 775 from Bombay to London. Flown to Dawson's Field, Jordan after refuelling at Beirut.
12 September 1970 Destroyed at Dawson's Field by PFLP along with a Swissair DC-8 and a TWA 707.
18 November 1970 Registration cancelled.

1. As G-ASGN was only in service for just over two years, there are not all that many photos of this airframe.

Colourschemes

BOAC Second version of BOAC 'Golden Speedbird' scheme, golden edge on cheatline removed and cheatline now arcs smoothly down towards the nose without the step of the previous scheme.
